A private photo session (sometimes called a sitting) with a professional photographer is very different from what you’re used to if you’ve previously only purchased photographs from large nationwide chain photographers. When you hire me for a private session, you get a time set aside just for you, with no waiting in line for your turn while trying to keep restless children entertained and clean and without your session being rushed in order to make time for the next person in line. There are no pose restrictions; I shoot as many as I need to in order to give you plenty of variety. Wardrobe changes are available with many session types. Above all, I take the time to listen to you regarding your desires for the session and then take the time to make it happen. You may pay more for this type of service than you would at one of the big box stores, but the results are worth the investment. And those big chain stores won’t come to you.
Available Session Types
I have several different session types available. Below, you’ll find information about what is included with each type. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, let me know, and I’d be happy to create a custom package that meets your needs. Because every person or family has different needs, there is no one size fits all pricing list here. We will discuss your needs and customize a package just for you.
All photo sessions include the following:
- A private, password-protected online gallery of your images
- For each 5 x 7 or larger print ordered, a watermarked, digital copy will be provided for use on Google+, Facebook or other social networking sites.
- A 20% discount on print orders placed within two weeks of your proofs being posted to your online gallery
Basic Portrait Sessions:
Portrait sessions may be in Studio (limited availability) or on Location. Each type allows for up to four people with a small fee for each additional person beyond that number. This session includes approximately 1 hour of shooting time and does not include wardrobe changes. Location sessions are for one, local location of your choice. Multiple locations or greater distances are quoted based on the job.
Senior Portrait Sessions:
Senior portrait sessions include one *studio and one location session, if desired, with wardrobe changes. You may optionally choose to only do the *studio or location shoot. Shooting time ranges from 1 to 3 hours, depending on wardrobe changes and other variables. You will also receive a proof book containing up to 24 images from your shoot. More images may be included in your proof book, at additional cost.
Engagement, Bridal, Boudoir and Model Portfolio Sessions are also available. Please contact me for details.
